School Finder USA is a free, independent, non-commercial online directory of public K–12 schools in the United States. All school data is sourced from the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) Common Core of Data (CCD) — a federal agency of the U.S. Department of Education. This data is in the public domain.

You may use School Finder USA to search, view, compare, and link to school information for personal, educational, journalistic, or non-commercial research purposes. You may embed links to school profile pages on external websites with appropriate attribution to "School Finder USA (schoolfinderusa.com)".

You must not:

• Scrape, bulk-download, or systematically copy school data via automated means without written permission
• Use the data or the platform for commercial purposes without explicit written consent from School Finder USA
• Misrepresent the origin of data or claim it as proprietary when it is NCES public domain data
• Interfere with or degrade the performance of the site for other users
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the site or its underlying systems
• Publish or transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, or violates any third-party rights

School data is sourced directly from federal NCES CCD releases. While we strive for accuracy, data may be temporarily outdated, incomplete, or contain errors inherited from the source datasets. School Finder USA accepts no liability for decisions made based on information displayed on this site.

NCES CCD data is in the public domain. The School Finder USA website design, logo, proprietary layouts, custom code, UI components, and written content are copyright © School Finder USA and may not be reproduced without written permission.
